Richard's Landing represents an excellent introduction to the many charms of St. Joseph Island.
The completion of the marina complex in 2003 featuring a 50-seat restaurant and waterfront deck, boater's lounge, gallery, family-style boater's washrooms, laundromat and marina office has established Richards Landing as the destination on St. Joseph Island especially for power boaters.
As St. Joseph Island's Commercial Centre, The Landing offers the island's best shopping and is a good springboard to a number of natural and cultural attractions, located just slightly inland.

Richards Landing Municipal Marina now offers dockage for 70 boats. The new slips are situated within two new breakwalls on the marina's west flank and have power and water hookups. The draft at the original dock ranges from 5 to 10 feet. Boats up to 55 feet long can be accommodated inside this new west basin and larger craft on the outside of the main wharf. 50, 30 and 15 amp power is available in the west basin with gasoline, diesel and pumpout provided at the service dock. The marina is also a Canada Customs check-in point.
